Classifieds platform for Kazakhstan
I am developing a classifieds service for all of Kazakhstan. Users can list one product or prepare several listings at once: upload up to 50 photos, review the listings created by the service and set their prices.
How the project works and my role
- Task
- Make it quick and easy to post one or more listings anywhere in Kazakhstan.
- My work
- I am building a platform with integrated AI that groups photos by product, prepares listings, transcribes speech and checks listings against the platform rules.
- Result
- Public alpha: the website works on desktop and mobile. Features are being tested.
My role: from idea to testing
I build the product entirely with AI, without writing code myself. I define how the service should work, set tasks for AI, test user flows and make sure bugs are fixed. I use the same approach for my other projects.
Features already implemented
Available in the alpha: I am continuing to test user flows and fix bugs.
Up to 50 photos per uploadOne listing or several products at once
Users take photos of their products or upload existing images. The integrated AI groups photos by product and automatically prepares listing titles, categories, descriptions and specifications.
Review listings and pricesThe user controls what is published
After processing, the service displays the prepared listings. Users review the information, add or correct details if needed, and set a price for each product.
Voice inputDictate a description
Users can add or expand text through voice input. The service transcribes speech into text that can be reviewed and edited.
Listing moderationContent checks against platform rules
The integrated AI checks photos and listing content against the platform rules. Manual moderation, reports and appeals are available for disputed cases. These features are being tested in the alpha.
Catalogue and user accountSearch, favourites and listing management
The catalogue, categories, search suggestions, Google sign-in, favourites and listing management are implemented. Russian and Kazakh interfaces are available. The website works on desktop and mobile.
Background processingQueues for photos and AI tasks
The web interface uses Next.js, with a Laravel API backend. Redis queues handle image processing and AI tasks. Data is stored in MariaDB and files in MinIO. The services run in Docker.
